Field
Development
Transforming the Baytown Soccer Complex into a premier 16-field regional hub, driven by political will, transparency, and a commitment to protecting the community from pay-to-play models.
The Vision & Political Will
Spearheaded by the vision of Commissioner Thomas Ramsey, Precinct 3, the Baytown Soccer Complex is poised for a massive transformation. The catalyst for this expansion stems directly from Commissioner Ramsey's belief in what community soccer can—and should—be. Recognizing the profound value of having dedicated stewards like the Baytown Saints Youth Soccer Club operating at the complex, he understands how a well-structured, true non-profit can deliver high-quality programming to the community at a highly accessible cost.
It is Commissioner Ramsey’s thorough evaluation and distinct vision that drive this initiative. His political will, commitment to transparency, and responsible fiscal policies are the keys to growing the game throughout East Harris County. By championing this approach, Commissioner Thomas Ramsey, Precinct 3, is prioritizing localized growth and firmly shielding our families from exclusive pay-to-play models.
Through this fiscal leadership, a master engineering study has already been completed. This lays the groundwork for a massive regional HUB composed of 16 high-quality, illuminated soccer fields, complete with expanded parking and a modernized irrigation system pulling water from our lake at the Baytown Soccer Complex, making our irrigation system fully sustainable.
This expansion is strategically phased. It begins with immediate LED retrofits to relieve current bottlenecks, scales up to full lighting across the existing footprint, and culminates in a massive northern expansion to complete the regional powerhouse.
