Pre-Match Preparation: Emergency Roles
In accordance with US Soccer best practices, Head Coaches must assign specific emergency action roles to designated adults (assistant coaches, managers, or parents) prior to every match and practice.

The Communicator Responsible for immediately dialing 911, remaining on the line with the dispatcher, and providing precise GPS / Access Point coordinates.

The Guide Responsible for immediately proceeding to the N Main St Service Gate (Access Point) to flag down and guide EMS directly to the specific field location.

The Responder Responsible for initiating CPR/AED protocols or stabilizing the player under "Recognize to Recover" guidelines while awaiting EMS.
Facility Requirements: Critical Response

Dial 911 For all life-threatening medical emergencies.

Provide Location Baytown Soccer Complex, 9600 N. Main St. Baytown TX, 77521 and Field Number.

Open Service Gates Ensure service road gates are open to allow emergency vehicle access if necessary.

Position a Guide Have a person located at the entrance of the Baytown Soccer Complex to flag down EMS.

Recognize to Recover Execute "Recognize to Recover" protocols for head or cardiac trauma while awaiting EMS.

Post-Incident Communication Once the emergency is cleared, communicate the incident to BSYSC Board Members.
